I started out in corporate banking and soon discovered my colleagues were stressed, unhealthy and overweight.
I jumped into the fitness industry when I bought a boutique women's gym in 2010 and found that I loved helping people become fitter and stronger, but I wanted more!
I became a qualified Personal Trainer in 2014 as I wanted to be able to provide a more personalised and targeted training approach to my clients.
I then went on to complete a bodybuilding competition in 2015 which was a huge success, but when I tried to compete again 6 months later, things went wrong – my body didn't respond at all! I knew I needed to understand nutrition better, for myself as well as my clients.
I started my nutrition studies in 2015 and then completed them in 2018, becoming a registered Clinical Nutritionist. I began practicing straight away.
Unfortunately, towards the end of my nutrition studies, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto Thyroiditis, but because of all my training and skills I was able to manage without medication through my own knowledge of nutrition.
I've been fascinated with all things metabolism ever since and love nothing more than to help my clients speed up their metabolic rate and achieve effortless results!
